BPSC Mains 2011-(eventually now in 2012) dates official and unofficial version   7 comments

Dear Aspirant,

I know most of us are fed-up with goof up with this BPSC 2011-2012(whatever!) main exam date.

According to sources at BPSC given us some scoops on why this delay and when you can see some PR (press release).

Anoyn: “Why this delay source”:

Oh let me not tell you political scene and the turmoil happening all across the India. Anyon, look real cause was related to budget submission from BPS commission to government, so that Mr Modi can finish his agenda to state and preparing ourselves for a full-proof exam conducting modality(procedures) at least for mains.” said the Source

“we were waiting on brainstorming session and how to go about, we do not want to repeat history our neighbourly states.” said the really red-faced source

Anoyn: “So when you think dates will be announced”:

Source surges his shoulders and indicated with his figure:
“May be 2-4 weeks, after budget session mostly”

So guys brace you seat belt and lace your shoes, Mains exam dates are just next corner.

Thank you all for valuable comment and encouragement, nevertheless best of luck and hope you preparation must be rocking….
Vivek

BPSC 2011 53-55th PT exam result: Justice Tripathi is on leave Sire!   9 comments

What a mess, pity! The year gone by is miserable to candidates appeared in BPSC and JPSC, now news against UPSC as well (will update you on that soon!).

Asking at court premise about BPSC court verdict is matter of laugh here!  “Sarr, yeh BPSC ke Result Ka kuchh nahi ho sakta!’ Says ‘TAYIID’ Mr. Ram with a chin to eyes smile.

The Patna High Court on Thursday(01/12/2011) reserved its order after hearing pleas of both the sides in a case related to the Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC). Some candidates have filed a petition in the HC requesting it to look into the discrepancies in the question papers of the 53rd-55th combined Common Preliminary Competitive Examination held in April this year. Jharkhand Public Service (JPSC) REVISED results for 4th PT 2011   57 comments

What a Coincidence!  BPSC PT 2011 results are in lurch and JPSC announces revised result.
Amazed!.
Jharkhand Public Service (JPSC) has released the revised result of 4th PT examination. You may see it in tomorrow leading newspapers.  Here is a copy of PDF files selected roll number. It is noteworthy here that the result has come out despite the fact that new revised model answer had several errors in it.
“Due to inaccuracies in the answer key of some of the papers the result of 4th P.T. of Civil Services Examination 2011 declared on 21.08.2011 is hereby cancelled. As per the best practice followed by State Public Service Commissions in India (July 2002 “General

BPSC 2011-53rd 55th PT revised results will be announced soon!   15 comments

After Tuesday session court hearings, it look more murkier than ever that what will be next step for the result declaring. However, one thing is clear that just by including 588 students to the declared result will not resolve this conflict.

therefore, I caution you all that BPSC 2011-53rd 55th PT revised results will be announced soon, and your name may go missing if the stance of BPSC changes before Thursday, 1st December 2011.

You may have noticed that there are more than 200 court cases filed at the court and combined hearing is conducted. Even though the applicant lawyer is requesting not to remove 915 successful candidates from the declared list, BPSC is planning not to accept this arbitration as of now. This is based on the background that BPSC does not want this episode to repeat that “just by going to court will solve the problem”.

Moreover, we are waiting for Thursday hearing for BPSC stance on this issue. Read the rest of this entry »

HAYP: Article 5: If your test is in 15-30 days (mostly BPSC / UPSC Mains)   3 comments

Part-2

Develop a Power List

One to two days before the test, prepareand reinforcean appropriate Power List covering the key points of the material. What’s a Power List? It’s the natural culmination of the acronym, replacement/exaggeration and numeric sounds techniques you learned in the previous chapter. It can be expanded or contracted as you see fit, and can accommodate whatever materials you feel are important to review. Developing a Power List is not a substitute for studying your material, but a convenient way to memorize key points that you can later reconstructon paper, if that’s an optionduring the test.

If you have the three strategies from the previous chapter down, and if you’ve effectively highlighted your written text and taken good notes, you’re ready to supercharge your study and memorization efforts. Here’s how:

Step 1

Develop an acronym appropriate to the material you’ve been studying. In the case of the misdeeds that occurred within the Grant administration, you’d probably want one that reminds you of Grant himself and of each of the five main scandals:

1. Black Friday

2. Credit Mobilier Affair

3. Delinquent tax collection abuse

4. Whiskey Ring

5. Belknap Bribery      Read the rest of this entry »

HAYP: Article 5: If your test is in 15-30 days (mostly BPSC / UPSC Mains)   Leave a comment

Part-1

Plan your time before you start: Follow the advice in Article 2 and develop a written battle plan!

Use your Planning Calendar, your weekly Priority Task Sheet and your Daily Schedule to allocate the time available to prepare for the test. Isolate the most important elements of the exam you must prepare for, and give them highest priority.

Whenever possible, schedule your test preparation activities for your own personal “prime time.” Keep all appropriate written planning materials in your Study Plan Central book. Monitor your progress toward key goals on a daily basis.

Here’s a suggested breakdown of the major study issues you could choose to focus on, assuming you have 12 days at your disposal. Of course, your own class, work and personal schedules will necessitate that you develop a unique schedule that works for you, rather than marching lockstep through this outline.

Days 12 to 9: Review your written materials extensively.

Days 8 to 6: Develop “condensed notes” (later in this article) and review your own notes from class.       Read the rest of this entry »

Thank you for the BPSC Mains 2011 bootcamp success   4 comments

Thank you for the success of the Bootcamp and all credit goes to 2011 batch of 30-Rankers

You all might have noted after mayhem at BPSC and their weak responses, The blog has gone silent.

This was due two main factors:

1) We were trying to negotiate on  behalf of not successful candidates, but unfortunately, all our efforts could not help them. However, our blog is with all the candidates who could not qualify due to unreasonable reasons, in fact, our blog has already helped few of you to lodge complaint at BPSC and other forums.

But this news should not worry the successful candidates as you all are successful because of your commitment and efforts which helped you qualify all the hurdles created by BPSC council. There is no chances that this time any cancellation of PT will happen.

2) Secondly, our blog is now busy with organizing BPSC Mains Training – a 4 week Bootcamp and weekly Mock tests and other interactive sessions over webinars and one to one (as of this year we are keeping this bootcamp only for 30 candidates enrolled here for online Mock Test).

Also, we are into thought process how to extend these services to be more fruitful to PSC aspirants from next year onward. Few of the suggestion, which we are seriously thinking are:

1) Medium of sharing to be in Hindi.

2) Contact Classes for needy with association with best Talent in the country, ofcourse at no profit no loss.

3) More interactive session.

4. ……………….’we need more serious inputs to make your aspiration worthwhile” – Vivek July 2011 Bootcamp. So write me in and pour!

The blog is sorry this not whole lot of in this year Mock Test and 30-Rankers-Bootcamp due to obvious reasons like logistics. Next year onwards we will keep these services available through mass media. Till the time bear with your blog for being slow and keep pouring in your valuable suggestions.

BEST OF LUCK. CHAO!

Not Happy with BPSC result 2011- the response   7 comments

Mine and BPSC’s  inbox is flooded with hundreds of emails on asking about individual roll nos of candidates asking the why their roll nos is not in the list.

according to the sources whole of last fifteen days BPSC official were struggling with managing the voluminous data and PR for the result publication. In fact this time getting information at concerned sources at BPSC was a daunting and upheaval task. Mainly due to first they don’t want to be in RTI trap and secondly after exhaustive work of last week they simply want to relax. I appreciate their effort by releasing 15,000 odd candidates for PT which happening for the first time in BPSC in recent times, where they have release so many candidates results even though CUT OFF virtually gone to rocket high. However, few things which came out in discussion are listed below: Read the rest of this entry »
