I do not understand, was it a curse on BPSC and JPSC aspirants who appeared for 2011 public service commission exams in these states. It’s really ruthless and unfair story to tell. Let me start exploring Havoc at JPSC 2011 PT ( 4th) exam first:
What is the age for voting in India? Ask this question to anyone and pat comes the reply 18 years. But this may be a wrong answer, if Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) experts are to be believed.
Not only this, if the JPSC experts are to be believed, the World Trade Organization came into being in 1990 (answer to question no. 74 in the same set) and not in 1995 as is commonly known.
Referring to the question paper and answer sheet on the website available Ashutosh Kumar of Sindri said answers of more than 12 questions asked in the political science paper of the fourth civil services examination of the JPSC were doubtful. “There are many questions in which all the options given are wrong and many questions asked in the UPSC exam have been repeated in the JPSC exam,” he claimed.
From awarding more than total marks to favouritism and nepotism, the JPSC has been in the news for all the bad reasons. While many of its officials are behind the bars, others are evading arrest for their alleged involvement in gross irregularities committed in selecting candidates for the state civil services. The preliminary test for the fourth civil services exams has also come under scanner after. Candidates from all over the state are demanding that the exam be scrapped.
While M Parvez Hasan, one of the members of the commission, refused comment on the matter. The controller of examinations could not be contacted.
