What a Coincidence! BPSC PT 2011 results are in lurch and JPSC announces revised result.

Jharkhand Public Service (JPSC) has released the revised result of 4th PT examination. You may see it in tomorrow leading newspapers. Here is a copy of PDF files selected roll number. It is noteworthy here that the result has come out despite the fact that new revised model answer had several errors in it.
“Due to inaccuracies in the answer key of some of the papers the result of 4th P.T. of Civil Services Examination 2011 declared on 21.08.2011 is hereby cancelled. As per the best practice followed by State Public Service Commissions in India (July 2002 “General
Guidelines for functioning of State Public Service Commission’s”) result of preliminary examination of the Combined Civil Services Examination is prepared by combining unscaled marks of the compulsory paper with the scaled marks of the optional paper (where
applicable) and the merit list is prepared for each category in the ratio of 1 post : 10-15 candidates + candidates getting equal marks. Accordingly the commission has revised the 4th P.T. result in the ratio of 1 post : 15 candidates + candidates getting equal marks on
the basis of the revised answer keys based on the advice of the subject experts. Commission has applied scaling formula approved by the expert committee for scaling the marks of the optional subjects. Inconvenience caused to candidates on account of inaccuracies
in answer keys leading to cancellation of earlier declared result is sincerely regretted. The revised result is published as under :-”
